Home Team BBQ and Commonhouse Aleworks have teamed up to brew a limited release ale that’s inspired by Home Team’s popular “Gamechanger” cocktail. The beer will benefit Home Team’s annual Rock the Block fundraiser.
The special release cream ale “Changegamer” will be available on draft at Charleston-area Home Team restaurants and the Commonhouse Aleworks flagship brewery in Park Circle. The “Changegamer” cream ale features notes of orange, pineapple, coconut, spices and lactose mirroring the foundational flavors of the original “Gamechanger.” Wrapped in a colorful co-branded label, the “Changegamer” beer is decked out for the occasion with a mural of the block party festivities.
